G'day. After reading "The Bush Camp is set back from the river but a few campers choose to camp closer to the 'boat ramp' on the river."
I would like to clarify some information on the Boynedale Bush Camp.
Campers are not allowed
to camp anywhere but in the designated camping area at Boynedale Bush Camp. This is the only area that has been set aside as a camping area. If you camp anywhere other than the designated area, you will probably be asked to move on as it is private land.
One of the benefits of containing camping within the one place is that litter and fires can be controlled in the one area. The area is quite large, and there should be room for everybody. If people start camping wherever they want, then there'll be problems with litter, and fires etc.
encourage everyone to camp only in the designated area.
