Put a location in your profile

Postby Barby-Q » Tue Nov 20, 2007 6:19 am

I've noticed alot of people that have not got a location on their profile. The question "Where abouts are you ?" comes up quite a bit on the replies . With a location of town and state in your profile we can all get an idea where you are .

Some people don't want to for whatever reason ... it would be nice to see that but again we need to respect their decision not to.

I promise, I promise I won;t say anymore

Some people are paranoid, I think is what scol is trying to say?

Others just forget.

But at then end of the day you don't have to be THAT specific. Just put a State in at least. Or area, like, Riverina, Central coast, Illawarra, Brisbane etc. Don't have to put your exact suburb in

The only stupid question is the question that is not asked.

One does not have to be specific with their location. It is a bit difficult providing answers to some questions when it turns out you are in FNQ and the person asking is in Vic.

top right hand side of your window, bellow the bar with "Australia’s Camping Site
Open public forum on Camping in Australia." in it, you'll see "User Control Panel". Click on that, then when that opens, click on "Profile". You'll see a box to enter your location and various other details if you want.
