Virgin camper with son

Postby AK_Weger » Wed Jan 02, 2008 9:47 pm

Hi,

I have just checked this website out as I am a virgin camper, a single mum to an energetic and fun four year old boy, and would like to experience some great holidays with my little one on a budget and the opportunity to meet people who are up for a laugh, relaxation, and creating great memories. I have gone out today and bought a tent, and all the necessary stuff i think, but have no idea where to start hence the reason i have checked in to this site. Would it be possible for me and my little boy to perhaps join your group on some holidays?

Hi AK,

I also, am a single mum with a 14 year old man/child who loves to do the camping thing, l live not too far away at Carindale.

We have in recent times been camping at Bigriggen which is just outside of Rathdowney, great family park and not too far from home to be able to go out for a weekend.

I have yet to join any of the get togethers on this forum as l'm fairly new to the site as well but look forward to the day when l get a chance to catch up and make some more new friends too.

Well you bunch sound friendly and welcoming :-)

I think I am keen for the Hawaiin doo at Bribie. Best have a few wines with the ladies before I even contemplate doing my impression of a hula dance, especially in front of people I have never met, haha

No guts, no glory I gather :-)
