Loiuse, nothing planned at this stage. If anyone has any ideas, but most places are probalby booked out.

We have nothing planned so could be interested.

We are going with my two sisters and my brother and their families. It's all their first time camping so unfortunatly they all want to go to the gold coast and we are all booked into the caravan park at Burleigh. Its a good start for them, I dont want to be stuck in the tiny sites :(
One sister used to always say "the only place she would ever camp in was a myer carpark" :x

I booked in to Big 4 tweed heads for Easter, and Big 4 North Star Hastings, for 1 week qld school holidays. Not too game to rough it jut yet. At least my four year old will be happy with the outdoor movies and kids activities they put on. It does cost quite a few $$$$$ though :-(... Regardless I am sure it will be fun, I am hoping that people there are going to be just as friendly as you bunch seem to be. It is a bit intimidating going camping by yourself with your boy, trying to socialise and have a beer with people doing there own thing... Oh well shall see how it goes...

Looking forward to Bribie:-)

Because of the way my roster falls i actually have 6 days off at Easter, but everywhere is so busy. One of my brothers has 5 acres at Jimboomba even seriously thinking of camping on his property. He would let me stay in the house but with three doggies that are used to sleeping with mummy i respect they don`t want dogs on their beds, they are not dog haters but have a lovely house. They have a huge undercover BBq area and a pool, gawd the more i write the more i think what a brilliant idea.mmmmmm good thinking 99.
The Lord is my shepard,i shall not want......only sometimes.

We haven't really thought about it to be honest - we normally do camp every easter! - it is just not near the scholl hols this time so more planning needed for time off work!

YIPPEE... only 12 sleeps for me and I am off camping for 10 days with friends over Easter as well.

Got the dreaded voting to do next weekend though.

We rarely venture out over Easter ... it just get's too crowded and not to mention the twits on the road. Our son will be happy as he likes to ride his BMX bike at the local skateboard (he's such a rebel  ) and as he has holidays outside of govt. school holidays we go then when it's less crowded and van parks are cheaper.

We are off to Lake Tabourie (near Ulladulla, south of Sydney). My daughter-in-law is from Philippines and has never been camping, so we thought we would start small and have booked into a caravan park (us in our camper trailer, son & d-in-l in our old tent). If she likes that we might take her bush next time :)

I know what you are up to, you just don't want to leave you best friend to go camping. We always go early and will be coming back late

Goodness I will have sooooo much to catch up on when I get back:-))))

Has anyone in SEQ heard any long range forecasts for Easter??

I personally think it is going to rain and be a bit cool but wonder what the weather man has to say as well....
