REAL CAMPING

Postby HUSTLER » Tue Feb 05, 2008 4:42 pm

Hi all.

Back in the saddle after not camping for about 15 years.

Bought a new tent that pops up like an umbrella, much better that the last tent.

Would like to find some Victorian spots, that are beautiful.
Want water, want trees and want to be able to fish if possible and want to dig a pit and cook in a camp fire.

Looking for ideas if anyone out there can suggest places.

Also has anyone camped on a farmers property with permission. I believe one can approach the farmer and he can charge you a very minimal fee.

Thx.
Hustler.

Welcome Hustler!

I'm in Qld so I can't help you with victorian sites, but I am sure others can.
Never argue with a fool! They drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience!

REAL CAMPING

Postby HUSTLER » Wed Feb 06, 2008 2:20 pm

Hi

Anywhere really, I live in the Outer East, so somewhere that takes not much more than 2 hours from home.
I know Gippsland is pretty good, but it can be a bit long for just a weekend away.

Thx

Welcome Hustler!

From SA sorry (seem to say that a lot)!
You could always come over here for a great time. The Flinders Ranges are brilliant! :?#
Any man, in the right situation, is capable of murder. But not any man is capable of being a good camper. So, murder and camping are not as similar as you might think.
