late 50's in age . I am keen to do some more camping but first of all I need to know a few places where I could camp for free if possible, in the central Qld area.
I have a tent but seem to have everything else that one can have .
We are wanting to buy a camp trailer but not sure what to buy we are thinking on road type.

Hi garden worm, there is a little spot most people know about its round the back of the Calliope historical village. Its pretty nice as its right on the Calliope river so you can launch a boat there as well. Could be a little busy this time of year with the grey nomads coming through. Its close to home for you so it would be a good trip to try out the new tent or camper before heading further away and finding that its not comfortable etc.
