i am using a navigation system on my mobile phone for around two months. it's perfect accurate and handy. only a mobile phone and a gps receiver, that's an entire navigation system.

Do you use it much driving around? I would have thought the screen is too small for that?

It has got 101 voices, so you can hear the directions. You cann use it for free till august 15th. I dont know what you must do with the gps receiver if you dont, like it. Maybe you can get your refund back or otherwise sell it on the internet it you dont want to keep it.

Thanks Kramer for pointing that out. It is a bit sus coming in as 2 different users, obviously the same guy. I edited the page but did have a look at the site, it looked like a UK product but looked pretty neat I wonder if there is a Au vrs around and how well it works. I guess if you are really lost with no phone reception you are in real trouble. :shock:

Oneday, when the money stalk comes in with my bundle o joy, it will be Laptop with GPS reciever, wireless net, dvd player, printer 8) Never get lost, keep in contact, watch movies, and print your piccies out whilst camping.... and you can probly scrap your PC

Problem with the laptops is when you're 4wd'ing it jars the ahrd drive. At teh very least you will jar the system ... and the worst you'll just frit it all together. Hence the small pda but you can use both systems alternatively.
