It'll do us, as long as we don't use it too much, hmmm....... been camping twice in 3 weeks, better buy some spare gauze from BigW ($1.76 per pack of 3) 8)

Michael

It will, the worst of it is that you cannot buy stainless steel gauze as replacements and I found that I was using a replacement gauze with every holiday after the gauze packed it in on my first toaster. I am now only on my second toaster in about 18 years, the stainless gauze far outlasts the replacements. Think I paid about $12 for last one, toaster that is.

Then place the bread on top & after about 10-15 secs each side it is done!

Now that does like like a decent slice of toast! We were away at the weekend with the 'cheesegrater' this time and it still wasn't up to scratch, but I don't think I could bear to do one piece at a time and co-ordinate timing to be ready with the rest of the breakfast.

Nah, just have an assembly line where everyone lines up with their bread, like we do when we toast marshmallows on the gas stove 8)

I have one of these also and hardly ever use it. It takes too long in comparison to the gauze one I have.
