Travelling from Sydney - North

Postby Lucylu » Tue Jun 06, 2006 7:20 am

What a great website. really helpful to read all the comments and reviews.

Basically, we're coming to Oz to get married in Sydney in Sept/Oct, then hiring a motorhome to travel up as far as Hamilton Island. then finally heading south to Brisbane for the flight home. (4 weeks in total)

Can anyone suggest any areas that we must stop at en-route and any must stay campsites?

Thanks a lot

Mungo brush (Myall Lakes National Park) is pretty awesome, I'd reccomend it. Coffs Harbour would also be a nice place to stop in for a rest but don't know any specific camp grounds. The same goes for Byron Bay.
