Password set-up

Postby Cruzin » Tue Mar 04, 2008 8:28 am

Hi Mods/Admin

After the new look was instigated I was required to "log-in" again but my password was not accepted. (This is the first time I have ever had to log-in since joining)

I then applied for a re-set and a new password was sent (very rapidly)

I then accessed my Profile to Change my Password and it will not be accepted.
The text box states that it must be between 30 and 56 characters in length.

Is this a typo?... 30 to 56 characters long..... !!

The automated re-set password was 8 characters (2xnumeric 6xalpha)
The new Password I tried to use was 8 characters (6xalpha 2xnumeric).
Rgds Shane

ps I access 57 sites (password protected) on the internet. None of ther sites require a password over 10 chararcters in length.

Fixed

Was probably just a default setting with the new software, or a typo.

Now requires 6 digits minimum.

Lucky! I was starting to think I might have to change my password to the first couple of paragraphs of a tale of two cities. ;)
