Well, how you all doin

My wife (Lis) & I (Mark, aka bill, aka snake_doctor) have recently made the step up to a Lifestyle camper trailer from several years of tent camping.

The main driver for change was our beautiful baby girl, Emma, who joined us 4 months and a bit ago. Needed a bit more room for storage and wanted some more comfort. We also upgraded to an 03 Prado to keep inline with the comfort gig. Prado's fitted out with UHF, Eleccy Rust Proofing, Brake controller & dual battery's but otherwise still stock at this stage.

We've done a lot of camping around the traps, mainly in area's in SEQ where some 4wd'ing can be had, and we loooove the beach, DI, Fraser etc

So now we need to focus on finding some nice spots for CT's or nice cruisy spots to enjoy some quiet time amongst the mozzies.

hehe, that, or because some forum users get antsy because they still live in the 80's and have slow internets, better to be safe than sorry, specially for an into

Whaddya mean? We are still in the 80s here in NZ, especially when it comes to internetty, cable and fibre optic stuff and they still believe No8 wire is the way forward. The news today was that broadband useage has finally exceeded dial up for the first time.

GREAT pics Mark/Bill and WELCOME to you and Lis. Tell me please where was the pic of the CT taken??

BTW...looovvve the pic of Emma, what a little princess she is....

Great idea getting her out and about camping at an early age too and I am sure the CT will service you well over the coming years.

Please tell us how the aka of Snake Dr came about, am sure there is a story lurking about there somewhere:-)))

Cheers Gypsy.

Thanks Gypsy, we think Emma is a little princess, sometimes...

Those pics were taken 3 weeks back at Landcruiser Park out near Jimna, that really hot weekend, its was 39 degree's according to the car thermometer. It wasnt that bad though, it wasnt our normal muggy heat, still warm though, was just a quick outing to give the camper and the prado a run

Thought it looked familar though it is almost 4 years since I have been there. Blew the motor on the way home from there almost 4 years ago, spat a couple of lifters out the side of the block...ouch!!
