No its just that she is keen to go camping with other people, at the moment its only my parents who come out with us, which is really good, but they are semi retired and spending a lot of time away, so we need some new camping buddies :-)

We might be doing Bribie on our own this weekend if our neighbour pulls out

Fingers crossed for you then...

I personally don't mind either way, love sitting and watching others come and go.

I have about 4 or 5 places in mind but am waiting on feedback on one and I am checking the other out myself.

Neither of which I will have until after Easter.

With some of the comments I have read I am not totally sure that I understand what Troy really has in mind, which is why I decided to put up more than one venue as a suggestion.

I know what my personal requirements are but am doubtful as to whether or not they fit the bill.

I still think that Troy is looking at the June long weekend but that is his decision and was never to have anything to do with me.

I did offer to withdraw but when I made the offer it did not appear to be accepted as the simple gesture that it was.

Sorry PJ, I can't offer any more assistance than that.

It will ultimately be your collective decision Alan, I will only be making the suggestions and I imagine if Troy is not happy with any of them he'll call for more.

Why (after Kenilworth Homestead) would I put up anything that I did not already know about and could recommend in good faith??

Sorry guys but if you want my suggestions you'll just have to wait until after Easter.

Just think, the wait might even be worth it.

Cheers GL

I'd really like to know where you're thinking of too.
Otherwise you might go to all this trouble and no-one else will be keen on your suggestion and you'll have to start again.
Just because you give us a hint doesn't mean you lose control of organising it...others might also be able to give you feedback and save you some time.
Just a suggestion...........

Is anything happening with this weekend? September and November are all sorted but we haven't locked June in yet. Does anyone have an update?
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt - then it's bloody hilarious!
