They're coming, being distracted at the moment. Things are going a bit slow at the moment.

I will do a report on kenilworth homestead as a seperate report under Aust Park Reviews.

You really need to be a self suffcient camper to go there, because you are a fair distance from the amentities, and they are not big if you have a few people staying there. While I would be happy to go there, it may not be the best venue for a gathering at this stage, perhaps down the track. Its just that we have people who perhaps are not setup yet to go to the venue. The feeling amongst the group yesterday that perhaps Borumba Deer Park would be better (mainly because its well spoken about on here).

It should be a given that gatherings had a high amount of facilities so it would cater for everybody. One would have to assume that there would be special needs people there.

Unfortunatley Will with the numbers we are getting it limits the number of places to go.

I understand that, but there is a basic criteria?

Borumba Deer Park could be an issue for anyone with dogs as there is not only a daily fee for their attendence but also a $50 bond per dog. This is refundable presuming there are no 'issues'.

And people with dogs are not allowed to camp in the same area as those without so you may well have to split the group.

I personally think that if you are going to Imbil that Island Reach would be a better and cheaper option. It is cheaper overall p/p and there is no 'dog' fee required and it does have some powered sites.

I thought I shouldn't let the moment escape and brag a little. The scones were yummy. Or were they just being sensitive to my feelings in saying that. :*** :*** :*** :***
