Saw the end off an old water cart in my travels today, had "J Furphy and Sons Shepparton" Cast into it, along with some other stuff I can't remember, mostly what other things they could do. Looks like they've been around.

The watercarts are where the term "telling a furphy" comes from oz.
A place I'd rather be...

Yeah the water cart was a meeting point for soldiers, and the gossip and rumours would be running rife.
