Hi all - new here and new to camping ...

well apart from a few times as a child where all I had to do was hop in the car!

We are a family of two, me and my 8 yr old daughter. We are at this point sticking to tent camping in holiday parks when going just ourselves, for safety reasons, and may do bush camping with other family/friends. In Jan we went to Bimbi Park in Cape Otway, Vic (Great Ocean Road) and it was just gorgeous. The most beautiful secluded beaches, you just felt like you were the only one on earth. Lovely. Anyway, nice to meet you all!

WELCOME tigerlily75 to the forum and like the others have said 'what a great pic'. The forum members here all like to share info and we would also love to hear more about your adventures with you daughter as well.

We have a couple of single mum's here so you find responses from them as well.

I believe you have made a good decision when you say you mainly stick to holiday parks for safety reasons as it is not only you but your young daughter who has to take priority.

And tenting can be such fun at any age but especially when you are a youngster. The memories of the great holidays you will have together will carry over into her adult life.

Congratulations

Cheers Gypsy:-)))
