Does the site look different today?

Postby amanda » Wed Mar 19, 2008 8:52 am

Does the site look different to anyone else today, or is it just me? The poster details are on the right not the left, and instead of seeing the bells (think that's what they are) at the start of each thread I just see a circle with lines through it. :?

Yeah it looks very weird to me. Not sure if i like this style as it's all lopsided to how forum normally are. Suppose i'll get use to it.

Weird - that's how I'd put it. I find it not as clear as it was previously. eg. new thread indicators etc. It's a bit off putting having the poster on the right hand side as it's not the first thing you look at. You tend to have read the post before you look to see who has written it.

Bright or dark background is worse, I find it really hard to read, but sooo many admins do it.

I think what we had before was quite fine, easy to read and navigate through. I was just getting use to the last change.
With this one i find it hard to navigate the new posts. With the other one you could answer a post then go up top and click on "new posts" again to get back to reading the new posts. With this one i can't do that.

I agree AS, I was very happy with the site as it was yesterday morning - I found it extremely user friendly - this one I'm struggling with a bit.

To be honest I haven't noticed any difference. That just may be my browsing style tho. Don't worry it will be second nature pretty quick :P
