NSW - Oberon Caravan Park

NSW - Oberon Caravan Park

Mrs Bravo and I spent a few nights there before Easter. Plan was to visit Jenolan Caves, Kanangara Walls National Park and Yerranderie Village.

The Park is small (about 30 powered sites, a few cabins and an unpowered area). $23 per night for a powered site.Location is just behind the main street. Facilities well presented and adequate. An undercover barbeque and a cook top available. Good grass coverage and friendly staff. The only draw back is that as night settles in and things quiten the sound of the Timber Mill takes over and drones on all night. It's what gives the town it's prosperity but it takes a bit of getting used to.

The town offers good facilites and is well located for the activities we undertook. They are planting some tree lines to try and deaden the sounds which might help.

Good park but not for a light sleeper
