Well what an unexpected surprise.
This park, is part of the Murramarang National Park and has approx. 120 campsites (some powered) and is just 100m from a lovely beach. There are a wide range of sizes and differing locations in the park and the amenities are near new and well maintained.
The prices for easter were $10 per adult & $5 per kid, with a $7 p.n. car charge or for $22 an annual pass for the Park. (we opted for this as we will definately be returning)
Fires were allowed as long as they were in a container of some description (we rummaged through a nearby scrap / recycling centre and grabbed an old washing machine drum !)
Plenty of wildlife (birds - Sea Eagles, kookaburras, owls etc / kangaroos, possums, lace monitors etc), only downside was 2 days of rain/ drizzle. However Easter Sunday was magnificent weather and the water was sensational.
Other than the ridiculous 5+hrs return trip to home on Monday, the Easter break was great, with plenty of beers, bundy and the same old stories around the campfire.
AH YES !!!!! Heaven on a stick.
