Yes I think most of us know about that one and there is another at Jericho too. One of the girl's here at work tells me there was an article in an RACQ magazine which lists all or at least most of the existing Drive Ins in Qld.

Might be nice to locate one if anyone remembers seeing the article.

Had a look at that Will and it is very much out of date. It is my understanding that the article in the RACQ mag was more recent.

I've always wondered why they've never knocked down the screen from the old Drive In at Tweed Heads. It's now just a big old rust bucket of a thing that sits in the grounds of Boyds Bay nursery right by the highway. Is there any logistical reason as to why you wouldn't remove it do you think?
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt - then it's bloody hilarious!

The one in Ipswich is now a retirement village and I think I heard that the one at Tivoli is now a christian centre of some sort.... Please correct me if I am wrong.

The one at Oxley is now housing and not sure what the one at Richlands has become...

From google earth view at Riclands the buiding looks like a roman ruin and the carpark has weeds that cast a shadow.
