G'day Cruzin
The CT is a Pacific Aluminium Trailer manufactured out of Qld.
Tare 380 kg
Tyres 185R x 14
Tent is 15 oz on the roof and 12 oz walls.
Two burner with grill stove, SS sink with hand pump, annexe plus 1/4 wall.
The trailer is an on roader however the standard coupling has been replaced with a Treg hitch and the axle is now under the springs just to get a little more high.
Here's a few pics.

Hi Coppergoat

That's a pretty tidy camp you have there. Is that tarp over, canvas??

Hi gypsylady

Thanks, we try to keep things tidy. Yes that is a tarp over the top, it is something that we have come to appreciate both in the middle of summer and the darkest of winter days. :)

Yes I know it is a tarp over Coppergoat but is it canvas??

And I totally agree with your view too, I never camp without putting a tarp over even when I don't put up the annex the tarp still goes over AND for the very reasons you mention.

It is amazing the number of campers who do not realize the added bonus of it. The number of people who have coommented to me over time about it just being 'extra work' would be enough to fill a book.

Sorry :) , yes canvas 15 oz with eyelets in each corner and cost around $400 one of the better things I have purchased for the CT.

WOW it wasn't the cost I was thinking about Coppergoat but rather the weight of the tarp overall and finding a home for it when travelling as well.

That's the advantage of a soft floor CT, it is quite amazing what secrets the top of the bed hold.

And how about the handling of it, is that easy enough??

Yes it is easy enough with a little help from my wife. I get her to hold one corner while i walk it around and over the CT, this way she can get on with making a cuppa or making the campsite into a home and i can finish pegging the CT down plus anything else that needs to be done. :)
