Just be prepared for minus temps and hope the wind doesn't blow.

I camped last weekend up Gatton way and expected the temps to be low but the coldest night we had was 4.9 and the days were up to 27 and 28.

So maybe it might not get too cold BarbyQ but as you have indicated...best to be prepared.

It was quiet cool last weekend :) didn't help that I had a few drinks and slept on the outer of my -5 sleeping bag and froze all night haha but the second night was better - inside the sleeping bag. The spot where we camped was up the top, and was beautiful and warm, but once that sun went behind a cloud - it was cold even during the day! Big roaring fire and warmer clothes next trip :)

We can't make it this time either.
We've already planned to camp at Rossmore Park at Kilkivan in the last weekend in May (in prep'n for pumpkin festival on Sunday).
Anyone else going to the Pumpkin festival at Goomeri this year?

I am not attending the pumpkin festival but I am very interested in hearing your comments when you return and perhaps seeing some pics too.

Ditto for me. Not just because it will be pretty cold, but because I'm heading to Melbourne that week (which will also be pretty cold I imagine).

Even the winter wollies would not get me camping in winter!
Alyssa also gets really bad asthma when the weather changes from day to night in winter so there are two reasons!
