Dream Pot has been around for years but this does not mean they are better. Need to get someone to do a comparison cook off

I remember seeing a display from a different brand to the ones concerned here, the inner pots didn't have a wire handle and the person doing the demo used strips of alfoil folded up to make a sort of sling to lift the pots out of the water, I thought to myself "what crap will people actually try to sell".

I have DP and swear by it but can't honestly comment on the Thermos one. I did a price comparo after I had purchased my DP and it was cheaper than the Thermos one at the time.

I do have to comment about the after sales service provided by Barry and Merran from DP which for me has been above and beyond.

I had an small problem with the lid some 3 years or so after I had purchased my DP (definitely out of the warrantly period) and rang to ask about purchasing the replacement piece. I was told to send it back and they would look at it.

Not only did it go back to them at DP's expenses but it was also returned to me at their expense and the part was replaced free of charge.

DP also have an email service where they provide you with updated recipes and hints twice a year.

Additionally they have a 1800 number that you can use for assistance AND you actually get to speak to a real person.

Like I said I have no knowledge of the Thermos product so cannot give any assessment of it.

Cheers.......

I could not agree more and that is only one reason why I cannot praise the DP enough and of course it actually works as well.

The secret to success Komodo is in the preparation and it took me a while to work that one out....

I see in the current BCF catalogue where they have Dream Pots on special with 10% off.

For anyone who is interested in purchasing one, now is a good time to buy as DP themselves never have 'specials' on them, not even at the shows.
