we went this australia day
second australia day we have spent there
the water was i bit low
because they had not let any out of dam for a long time
obvious reasons
so the rapids part was very dissapointing
we stayed up near the cabins this time
so my cousin would come
was ok shady but bit of a walk to creek
might stay down near creek next time

As we are already going Al I guess your talking about the walk to view the platapus . The best part about camping with kids they find all the good things and come back to tell us to come and have a look . Saying that it's best the kids sort it out when they are going to see the platapus with you . :)

Well we stayed here the weekend after you guys were there - I LOVED it!!
Will definetely go back!
Gr8 flat sites, green grass - clean amenities
We stayed in Sherwood forest but had a good walk around and anywhere in the park would be suitable!

Just came back from a three night stay. I agree with previous posts it was great for the kids we will definitely be going back.

Just thought I would mention that drinking water is from rain water tanks and probably should be boiled before drinking so take this into account when packing water containers. We will be taking more drinking water with us next time.
