I've had some experience with these units, we were camped in the Watagans for a few days and one our friends bought one for his camper trailer, we decided to setup a shower for anyone to use (BYO water) this was his first time at using it.
They are a pain, if you stop the flow of water the pilot light goes out and you have to restart it, if the flow is too fast it becomes too cool and if it's too slow it's too hot, but you can't get it to flow at the right speed and shower at the same time, it was a 2 man/woman job.
You can't operate it properly by yourself, you need someone to help.
At the time we were looking at showers ourself and it looked the goods, but after using my mates one we decided against it.
One of the best shower units we ever used was a Helton vehicle shower, but it wouldn't work in our new car.
We have a Bosch hot water system in the camper, it works pretty good.
The other option is the Coleman hot water on demand units, from all accounts they work well.
If you can fit a vehicle shower in your car, get one, they do work well.
