High Country

High Country

The Victorian High Country is one of the most beautiful places in Australia, this is just a few pics we took while there.
We arrived at our second camp to every season of the year, from hot at Buenba Flat to cold, snow, rain, sleet, strong winds and fog, all in the space of 3hrs, while getting to our second for the trip on the Murray river near Corryong.
We had to abandon our this camp and go back to a hut we found on the way to our original camp because the weather made getting down to our campsite, slippery and dangerous.
Christmas eve it got down to -1c

Yep sure was, it was snowing from 800 metres we were camped at 980 metres

The last pic was the next day, the snow had melted and the last 1k of the track to the top was a tad slippery in places
