Have just beeen advised of another 'pet friendly' venue for those of you who like to camp with your canine family.

I have not yet cecked it out but will do so when I get a chance and will post a report. If anyone gets there or has already camped there and can give feedback, I would really appreciate it.

I am sure they are about Mandy1 but it will take some research. I have put this list together over a number of years and of course it covers there areas more applicable to where I live in SEQ.

Thank you - I am looking for bush style camping right on the coast for periods of time, not just weekenders. There seems to be a lot inland but nothing right on the beach.

I stumbled across Tony's Point Island in Foster on the weekend and after speaking with the caretaker - it sounds perfect (except its not on the coast) but surrond by lake. Will give this a try in November. Thank you for you help - the websites you suggested were very helpful.

Be sure to take mossie protection. My daughter and her husband stayed there one Anzac and the mossies were bad. Fortunately and one of the Mortein bug zappers and no problem within the camper

Good work gypsylady, I've got about another 2,800 parks that need to be called and details updated if you ever get a spare 3 months.
Or anyone eles for that matter, perhaps one in each state that would only mean about 400 each  .

To be honest it is a big ask Gypsylady but we need to contact every park in our database (see homepage search) and update their details. We hired someone to begin with (almost 5 years ago now) but as its a free directory it just got too costly. We could pay basic costs i.e. phone and a little $ here and there but it would be more of a love job as we just can't fund it. If anything we would hope to find one or two people in each State to call and update data, ask for a few photos etc.

But I know its a big ask so I was half joking...
