Another Newbie

Postby deberg » Tue Sep 23, 2008 2:14 pm

Hi Everyone,

My wife, son (6 years) and I are new to camping, only been 2 twice. Both times to short. Next time will be for a week and a half. (Still not long enough.. Bloody work!!!).

We go to a place call Wangi Point Lakeside Holiday Park at Lake Macquarie. Camp sites are water front facing east so we get spectacular sun rises over the lake. With fishing a few metres away and a boat ramp 1 min down the road, who could ask for more. ;)

Anyway, hi everyone and thanks for the great information.

Cheers

Mark

Hi deberg (Mark) and WELCOME to the forum...

Here you will find lots of members who will happily share their ideas and advice and we love to hear about your adventures too.

Somebody said the other day that camping is addictive and it looks like you are well on that on that road already.

Have a great camp

Cheers.....

Gypsylady, addiction is an understatement. :P

Whilst the boy is still young, we need to find exciting places for the age group, so any idea's please feel free to send them through. Can't wait to not be camping near play grounds. But we got years of camping to look forward to. See you all on the forum.

Thanks

Mark
