Hey there from Brisbane

Postby battlecrumpet » Thu Sep 25, 2008 9:14 pm

Hi all

I live on Brisbane southside and have been camping / hiking in SEQ for quite a few years. However now we have a little boy (almost 2), my memory of previous camping adventures is somewhat hazy due to lack of sleep.

Anyway we're hoping to get out and about a bit more now to places that the little one might enjoy (or at least put up with!)

One of our favourite campgrounds used to be Archer (north of Brisbane, near Mt Archer / Mt Mee) but haven't been there for years. It was a lovely bushy place with only a few campers.

Eventually I'd like to meet up with other campers from SE Qld as I've had a look at the pics of your previous get-togethers and they look like fun
