Camping in QLD

Postby mRNA » Sun Oct 12, 2008 11:39 pm

Hi guys,

I have just joined the forum and I found it really useful specially for providing information for camping beginners like myself :D

I would like to know what are the most popular and the best camping places around Brisbane (even if it is 4-6 hrs driving far).

I have really no idea and tomorrow I will go with one of my friend and he'll help me to get the tent and all the required camping accessories.

So, plz I need your help to find several spots during November 2008

Thanks alot :D

Yours,
mRNA

Hi mRNA, have a look in the Park Reviews section and you will see quite a number of places that different members have put info in on.

I don't imagine they'll look terribly much different in mid November.

I doubt that anyone can give you specifics about all the places or even necessarily any of the places in mid November mRNA.

I suggest that you pick one or two that you may be interested in and then ask the question.

mRNA,

A couple of suggestions for you. All these places have toilets, showers, 2wd access and I have found to be always tidy.

Archer campground used to be great when we went there years ago but haven't been there recently. It's maybe 1 - 1.5 hours NW of Brisbane.
