NSW - Coolah Tops

Just had 4 nights there in September. Weather was perfect. We camped at the Cox's Creek campground and had the place to ourselves.

Where is Coolah Tops?
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt - then it's bloody hilarious!

Nice place, we have had it on the to do list along with Goulburn River and a Barrington snow weekend.

Love those Black Boys.

Damn those black boys are big.
We went out and spent $300 on a 1 metre black boy a few years ago.
Was the pride of our 'native' garden for a year or so before it started dying off.
Our bright spark of a neighbour sugested that all it neaded was a burning off ::()
When all else failed, we set it alight on an alcohol fueled evening, along with our brown turf that had also kicked the bucket.
Wife wasn't impressed next morning when she peered out the front door to see her somewhat green garden totally black :$

Coolah Tops is out towards Coonabaraban. Below is a map of the trip we did last month.

Some of the Grass Trees would have have to have been 15 feet tall. Hopefully the link below will give you access to all the photos from Coolah Tops

Damn - now everyone will want to visit the area. Did you really have to put up a map as well! Mrs Bravo and I have been there a couple of times. Love it.

Well there are some advantages to getting old - you can go to spots mid week and you can be a grumpy old person
