The Gorge Wilderness Park - Aratula Qld

Just spent 2 nights midweek at the Gorge.
Haven't been there in 13 odd years.

If you are a bird observer as I am...much to be seen.

If you camp further up the creek about 50 meteres beyond the rapids...
and you are happy to be awake between 0500 and 0600 you can watch the Platypus playing. Two morning in a row in fact.

It was the highlight of my stay..

All in all it is worth the $3 per person.
