Solar Blankets

Postby homekegger1 » Mon Nov 10, 2008 2:53 pm

G'day all. I am looking to get a solar blanket for my CT and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on where to get one. I live in Adelaide. I have called Cavalier Campers and they sell them, but for $300 I am hoping to find a slightly cheaper option.

For those that are not aware, it is a blanket you place over the roof of the trailer and it reflects the sun and keeps inside the CT cooler in those hotter month's.

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

I would think $300 was relatively cheap for a CT solar blanket especially when you look at the cost of the product (air-cel) per metre (est $25 per sq mt) and then there is the cost of labour to have it made up as well.

Agreed ^ $300 sounds very reasonable to me!
