sorry for the delay but i have so much to do before going back to work.
the fam and i have just returned from a week camping. the weather was kind as far as rain goes but we did have a few windy days. the first day on set up we had 20-30knot winds which made it fun to put up our 30ft x 20ft tarp.
we had a few different visitors come and stay with us for a few days. some friends from Mackay heading on their way back up from Brisbane and our eldest with her boyfriend.
on the fishing and crabing front it was a bit quiet. i spoke with a few other campers and the fellow from the bait and tackle shop in town and everyone was saying the same. with all that we still caught a few good fish and my youngest caught her first ever fish. the largest thing taken on a line was a very large sea turtle that my eldest's boyfriend haulded into knee deep water before the line snapped. we think it just got foul hooked as he was fliking a soft plastic lure around the sand bank.
over all we had a great time with few beers and good friends for company around the camp fire at night
ps: i did get to take the boat this time
packed up and ready to leave
