G'day

Thought I'd say gday.
We're in Brisbane and tend to camp on the beaches (Straddie, Moreton etc) but looking further afield now that we have 2 kids and fishing time is limited.
A big thank you to everyone who has posted info about campgrounds in our area - most helpful!

Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve and WELCOME to the forum. I camped for many years on the beach but have given it away in the latter times in favour of bush camping.

Lots of members here who do beach camping though and they will be more than happy to share their tips and tricks with you.

Of course we will be more that happy to hear of your adventures too.

Cheers.....

freerocketman ... Moreton is probably nicer than Straddie! Quite a bit more expensive though. We try to get over to each at least a couple of times a year.

Just spent the night at Bigriggen. Nice enough spot - quite a few people there for what we thought would be a quiet weekend. Still had space for ourselves and don't think our 7-mth old woke anyone up in the middle of the night .... I hope!!
