Time to say hi

Postby muffys » Fri Nov 21, 2008 9:53 pm

Hi All

I have checked the website out a few times and all its great camping places and camping hints so thought it was time to introduce myself. My name is Maria and just love camping and seeing new places. Our Dream of going around Australia is finally becoming a reality - we head off around Australia for 1 year starting Boxing day this year. There is so much to organise to go - I think I will need the year to recover. The crew will consist of husband Grahame, myself and 16 year Son Shane. We have a 2002 Prado and a hard floor camper trailer that my husband has built with all mod cons - should be cozy.

I have been doing alot of research of places to stay and this site has been of great help and thank everyone who has contributed to it.

Nice meeting you all I best get back to packing boxes.

Maria

Muffys,

Welcome to Camping.com. Half your luck being able to pack up and head off, all the hard work will soon be forgotten once you hit the road and start touring.

Good luck with the packing :? and then the trip. ;) Some pics of the camper would be good to see if possible.

WElcome to the forum. The trip will be worth the effort. Theres sure to be things you haven't thought about and they will reveal themselves closer to the date.

Mrs Bravo and I were about to leave for a couple of months. We needed to go to the local hospital for treatment and found that our medicare card was about to expire. This lead me to check all the other cards to make sure of the expiry dates. :?

Hi Maria and WELCOME to the forum. If you have not already purchased a Camps Australia Wide 4 book then I suggest that you do so.

These books are the travellers bible for the want of a better term. Good luck on your great adventure.

Cheers...
