Fingal Bay Holiday Park, Port Stephens, NSW

Hi all,

Just had the weekend at Fingal Bay Holday Park, Port Stephens. We had a good stay with the weather gods not being so kind to us, turning on gale force winds and rain on Saturday and Sunday. The weather however did fine up on Monday for us to pack our camper up with dry canvas.

The park was very nice with plenty of powered sites as well as camping sites, something for all. There was a large heated pool as well as a small toddlers pool, games room for the teenagers and a camp kitchen for mum and dads. The bonus is the park is located a short walk across the road from the Fingal Bay Beach which is a patrolled beach. A short drive and you are in Nelson Bay which has all the shopping SWMBO could possibly want.

Thoroughly recommend Fingal Bay Holiday Park. :+ TOP SPOT :+

Argle,

We really enjoyed a stay at the C/van Park at Lemon Tree Passage a couple of years ago, but since then have found that it is a little pricey compared to the other parks in the area.

We actually stayed in one of the cabins that were at the park, it was pricey back then too. The one thing I do remember is the sensaaaaaaational garlic prawns the local chinese restaurant did mmmmmmmmm I think we ended up eating there three times in the ten days we were there!!
