Organising Private Messages

Postby CampGrrlz » Wed Dec 03, 2008 11:10 pm

Good morning ...

I notice that in the Private Message section there is the ability to make a new folder. But I'm at a loss to see how to move an incoming or outgoing message into any folder at all.

Is it possible to move messages and if so, how?

There also doesn't seem to be any way of forwarding the message - I can always copy onto the clipboard and play with it from there - that's a workaround if all else fails.

It would be dandy to be able to have some flexibility with the PMs.

I note the complex system for making feature requests to the BB people.

Regards

Elaine

When you create a new folder, all it does is actually rename you Saved Messages folder.

In the bottom right hand corner of your messages page is a drop down box. Just tick the box of the message/s you want to moved then click on Move Marked To Saved Messages., then click on Go.

Pic below shows what it looks like

Aha! I see it all - thank you for the info and screenshot. It's all sorted now, a trifle klunky but once I understand the system, it works well.
