QLD - Pialba Caravan Park - Hervey Bay

Postby kazzakanary » Sun Jan 11, 2009 10:58 pm

We have just returned from a week long stay and could have stayed another few weeks I reckon!!
Powered site RIGHT on the water - $350 for the week (2A, 2C)
Close to shops, parks, pubs etc - awesome walking trail for about 7 klms in either direction
Highly recommend!

Any photos? We're planning on heading to Burrum Heads at the end of March for a week, but are disappointed that they have put slabs on all the waterfront sites. Perhaps we may change to Pialba????
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt - then it's bloody hilarious!

I only have pics of our site - didn't really think ahead there did I?! (I will look at what I have and try to post later)
Burrum Heads is more of a little fishing town - not so much for kids (if that is what you are after)
Pialba has a kids playground and very close to everything
There are slabs on all the waterfront sites where we were but I THINK the other end of the park does not have slabs BUT although they call them beachfront there is a lot of folage/trees blocking the view :(
We honestly love it though - we rebooked for next year LOL
