Mt brother lived on North Straddie for 25 years when the sand mining companies were there,in those days it was bliss,a chemist a grocery shop and Pt Lookout pub.

No recent prices Dicko....way too expensive for me when I checked it out a few years ago.

Here is the current price list....seems CTs, vans etc are $28 per meter charge on top of the cost of the vehicle.

Yer it is pricey. Do they get any vans or c/t over there. I would love to take the van over but I don't think I would for those prices. Plus then you have to pay park fees on top of that.
Cheers :beer

Yep Dicko....We took our Station wagon we had then plus our camp trailer....Wasn't cheap but we enjoyed the holiday so....The price you have to pay....(my goodness...just looked at my pics....they are now 5yrs old)
The camp we stayed at was around on the Northen end...We wern't to impressed by the hygiene around the camp....but the price from memory wasn't that bad.

Would we go back.....Not in a hurry to camp (where we stayed)
