A bit too far off yet for me to commit - I have an awful lot of trips away between now and May, so once they're all done I'll be clear to plan some more.
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt - then it's bloody hilarious!

Set a date so we can work towards it. What about the June long weekend.

I have actually always wanted to take my camper into the snow. The closest I ever got was -2 degrees in the Snowy Mountains and a huge hailstorm that covered it in ice at Batemans Bay.

It was the june long weekend that everyone is woosed out on.

You might be better trying for the Labor Day Weekend. Remember no day off for ANZAC day this year.

Yes Troy i thought more like May before it gets too cold as that seemed to be the main reason people backed out. Anyone know if we are in for another cold winter this year ?.I also thought to avoid the long weekends so places won`t be packed, but majority rules, maybe the long weekends are easier for families, since mine are all fur kids they don`t get a say.

Congratulations Amanda....you have been elevated to Moderator status... good for you.

PJ
Re camping on long weekends and it being too crowded, that would only be a poblem on what I call the tourist strip and winter camping is not as popular as the summer months so doubt it would present much of a problem.

Ok Let`s nominate May weekend the 2nd 3rd and 4th, Where do we want to go ? I will have to go doggie friendly but if majority rules other wise then i`m fine with that also.

That's good for me. Just make it a reasonable drive from Brissy.
