If you're in Victoria are you planning to go away for the long weekend? Where are you going?

Wife and I only thought about it last night.
Initial idea is to go South West Victoria because
A) We haven't really been out that way past Port Fairy
B) Bushfires don't seem to have been a problem out that way

Suggestions would be welcome
We intend to stay in State Forest, National Park campgrounds.
Prefer a place with toilet, but can get a loan of a Porta Potty.
Some national parks have long waiting lists for camping reservations.

We're off to warrnambool to squeeze in amongst the masses  not quite our idea of camping but we're trying to break the small people into tent life with a few home comforts, an escape plan and no bush fire threats.

Booked into Lake Eildon NP but due to the nearby fires, it is closed & I can't see it re-opening for next weekend....so, now to Plan B. If only I had a Plan B! but am currently working on it - tossing up beach side spots possibly but no idea on how busy they are on this long weekend. Any ideas anyone?
When's my next holiday??

Had to cancel our not even planned trip.
Decided money should be spent on silly little things like bills
and fixing car (which was damaged last trip) and Son's birthday.

We did Narrow it down to Mt Eccles National Park,
Lower Glenelg National Park, Discovery Bay Coastal Park
or some State Forest in that area.
(really narrowed it down didn't we)
