after been to Myall Lakes with sand dunes everywhere, where can I get a 4wd lesson so I can get into the beach and start driving?

any precautions I need to take? was so tempted to drive in but realised that you need a lesson before getting your car into it..

If you check with a local 4xd shop they should be able to help you.

Try checking some of the forums for organized events they will normally let you tag along and help with driving tips.

If there is an active 4wd club in your area join it and the members will normally offer advice, tips and take you along on the runs.

What sort of a 4x4 you drive?

I'm heading off with a few mates to Lithgow this weekend for a 4x4ing trip. Would be happy to show you how to put it in low range and and all that if you want to come up for a day, but we will be doing some of the harder tracks there.

Biggest things with sand driving is to drop your tire pressures, and keep momentum.

Try Out of Town 4 Wheel Drive in Newcastle. They run programs for bush and beach. They use Stockton Beach as the class room
