Portable Toilets/Porta Pottis

Postby cammac2 » Wed Sep 20, 2006 11:31 pm

Hi There,
This is my first post.
My question is, does anyone use a portable toilet when they are camping?
I have a campertrailer and am thinking of buying a portable loo for the family to use. The loo would be situated in the living area and my biggest concern is if there is a constant strong chemical smell from it.
I don't want to have to erect a seperate shower/ changing tent.
Thankyou and I look forward to any advice.

Get one of those shower tents that take 20seconds to put up and about 20 minutes to put away. They take up very little space and are light. You don't want the toilet it the camper. Also make sure it is not your job to empty it.

Thankyou for your advice. It seems that they may be more work than they are worth. I'll keep doing some more research.
