Pictures of your camp sites

OK so this is your home away from home right. So lets share a few of these tips and (secrets) of a great camping site.

Hope the pic works.
Recently went around northern nsw, stopping most nights. Awning on the car was very handy. Facilities for all the national park campgrounds were excellent.
Anyway, I think this will be our standard setup for short trips - blackwolf plus the awning. No tarp - nothing that takes more than a few minutes to put up/take down.

This place is definitely on my 'to do' list & has been for some time. Getting time to get to all these great places is the problem....

What A Great Day For A Hike.

We had the best weather for a Hike. It was beautiful. Our campers were pretty
pleased with the weather too. We hiked Pickle Creek Trail in the morning.

After our first hike we went back to the campground and had lunch.
We recruited a few more hikers for our second hike on Pickle Spring Trail.

Like many of you our camping has evolved, we started off in the UK in a tent, and it was a big tent could sleep 12 but gave the four of us somewhere to hide from the UK weather.

Then changed to a trailer tent - this is a review I wrote for a UK camping forum with pictures of our set up and the kids -
http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/articles/view.asp?id=130

We sold that when we came to Oz and my wife said that she would only camp if the tents were completley bug and snake proof - So we now have a Coleman Chalet CV 9 (again another big tent).

Unfortunatley the Jeep Wrangler has gone (became unwell and had to be put out of its misery) and we now have a Cherokee!

All our kit is in a trailer so we just need to hitch it and we are ready to go - but we are heading to the Perth Caravan and Camping show this weekend to try a get a show special on an Off-Road Camper Trailer.

New here, thought I'd better join in!

Spent Easter weekend at Loch Sport, Gippsland, VIC with friends, old and new. One of the upsides of getting away, meeting likeminded people.

The kids outnumbered the oldies 11 to 7, but they had a ball!

We had a great time letting them!Cheers,

Nice photo's of the kids, but I'd just love to see a shot of your old mouldy tent!
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt - then it's bloody hilarious!

Sorry Amanda... it is no more. I binned it when I got home.
If you look at the first pic, you'll see it behind the tree, next to the Berlina, blue wall. That's all that deserves to be shown.
