Camping Holiday to the Mitta Mitta - Omeo region..

Postby The Trout Hunter » Wed May 06, 2009 11:09 am

G'day fellow campers..

Heading Omeo way for a week, Just wondering if anyone has been up that way of late, we are staying at the Willows next week and will be hitting the usual area's. Anything not to miss while I'm up that way?

Or any fishing reports of the area?

Thanks.. I will post some pics when I get back.. Looks like it will be a cold trip.. Just hoping the rain holds off a little for us.

Or maybe Snow could be a good thing.. :shock:

Thanks,
Brad

Snow! ::()

Over here on the west coast, I can't remember when we last had rain. Everything is still very brown and crispy here - we have had temps of 28 during the day, but it has been chilly overnight - We have put the winter Doona on the bed! We were thinking of going away this weekend but 10 degrees at night is probably to cold for us!

We did camp in the Uk and wake up to frost a couple of times - I think I am going soft! I cant imagine camping in snow! :?
