Jeff,

Those single wall tents are great for backpacking too, light weight & compact.

ORCC - Watercress Springs Campout

We had a fun camping trip. We really enjoyed ourselves. The kids had a blast. The group site is quite big and they had plenty of room to play. We did have a few rain issues, but it wasn't too bad. On Saturday, Steve & Jake along with Melissa, Christopher & Jonathon went on a five mile float trip down to Big Springs. The rest of us drove over to Greer Springs for a hike. We didn't get rained on, but the floater got wet. We all decide to do another float trip on Sunday. We got rain on that float too. We did visit Jolly Cone quite alot "Ice Cream".

This is my first post on here. Been lurking for a while.

This thread is by far my favorite. Thought I'd at least contribute a pic or two of my own after enjoying everyone else's.

These are at Lani's at Forster NSW only a few months ago.

What more could you want. Borumba Deer Park - Wife, mini schnauzer, Forester XT, Tarp, Coleman Dome Tent, IceKool esky, Coleman 2 burner gas cooker, Primus gas lamp, Coleman chairs. This setup has served us well for the last 9 years. For longer stays we have a 110lt Evakool.

One day we'll have a camper trailer!

Here is our set-up. Picture taken at Maroon Dam in December.
December 495 - Copy.JPG

Black Wolf Twin Turbo Lite tent which we are selling soon as we are hopefully getting a new camper trailer soon :armsup !!

We have 3 kiddies (11yrs, 4yrs and 18mths) so this tent is/was great. So incredibly easy to put up & down ! Will be sad to see it go... :(

Thanks.

Hubby spends a bit of time doing what I call 'playing' and what he calls 'adjusting' the tarp to direct water and wind away. Seems like every few hours he is playing with it.

We have just put a deposit on a camper trailer so our very much loved tent is up for sale.. anyone interested........ :)

I call that 'fluffing' like as in fluffing the pillows, setting things staright etc.....but no matter what the term is...the action & outcome is the same, hey??
