Waterfalls of SE Qld

With all of the recent rain and flooding, I took a couple of day trips to check out some of SE Qld's waterfalls

Great pictures :+ - we haven't got anything like that here :(

These are two pictures of the same waterfall (Serpetine falls, WA) one taken winter 2007 and one the winter 2008 - no where near the same class as yours!

Being away, I have missed all the rain here in the SE.....great pics, thanks for sharing them.

Mind you, I did just get out of Quilpie before the roads were closed due to flooding.

Titch - I'll wager that the waterfall pics were taken through a filter of some kind

We went to Queen Mary Falls at the weekend - I'll post some pics when I get the time at home

Beautiful place

It is done just by using a slower shutter speed. Great fun to experiment with

Slower shutter speed yes, but to get those misty like images you need a neutral density filter on the end of your lens. cuts down light and allows for an even longer exposure.
