Litchfield National Park & Katherine George

Litchfield National Park & Katherine George

Postby MDC » Wed Jun 10, 2009 9:47 pm

Well I thought I should post some pics in here seeing this was looking a little quiet. These photos were taken at either Litchfield National Park or Katherine George.

I've spent the last two weeks working between Katherine and Darwin. Unfortunately not much leisure time so a lot of my activities have been rushed. I have been quite depressed driving around seeing some amazing caravans, 5th wheelers, campervans and campertrailers. It's grey nomad season up here!

Unfortunately I only have my work laptop so these images are straight off the camera and untouched by photoshop.

Thank you for the compliments. Just a slight retouch with photoshop.. some are too dark, some are too bright, some need the yellows and red cut back a bit.

However, I'm glad I could share a bit of my travels with everybody.

My "office" does have it's good moments sometimes. I spend a lot of time travelling the world but I rarely get to see more than a desk or the airport. Which is why I love camping. Apart from growing up camping, there is nothing better than being in the great outdoors after months of being stuck in a hotel room.

These photos were shot with my recently purchased Canon EOS 40D. I'm still learning how to use it! I have a feeling that photography is going to be an expensive hobby for me. I'm already eyeing off a $1k lense.

Think I may have to end up going that way....I really do like the easiness of point and shoot though.
