Looking for a great location

Postby Colz » Mon Aug 10, 2009 6:46 pm

Hi there, well we plan on going on our first camping trip this weekend. 2 adults 2 kids aged 10 and 4. we are in Brisbane and want to go somewhere for the weekend.

happy to go north or south of Brisbane
would like toliets and shower block
Needs to be near water (not open ocean) but somewhere we can sit quietly with a line or to in and relax.. would also liek it if we can have our tent set up right next to water as well..

is this a big ask? Is there anywhere around like this? i am searching and seaching and am having a lot of troubles finding something.

Can you pls suggest some places i can have a look at.
Thanks in advance!

Boreen Point. Toilets, showers, camping right by calm water, excellent for fishing or splashing around for the kids.

or

Woody Point (Iluka NSW) - also has everything you want.

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt - then it's bloody hilarious!
