WOW is it quiet or what......find it hard to believe that no one has anything to say!!

I'd like to think you are all out there soaking up this great camping weather.

Another beautiful day in Qld. We spent the afternoon with the pup at the Broadwater (Southport). It was his first look at a lot of water (apart from the bath) and he seemed to enjoy it and it would appear he is going to be a strong swimmer.

Anybody do anything exciting?
Please sir, Can I have some more? Time off that is.

Weather has been great down here, between the rain and the gale force winds.

Fingers crossed we will be checking out Ninety Mile Beach on Weekend 5th / 6th Sept
Looking for somewhere to go for 1st week of School Holidays so this will be a site scouting trip.

I love Golden Beach.
Be early and take a rake to clean the site.
Very protected camping in the dunes.
Watch the kids in the water,it can be rough.

I did a recce to Linville....looking at camping there next month.

You are right Cheiffy, another great day in Qld and glad to hear your pup enjoyed the beach. I think with this weather it would be hard not to enjoy it.

Forgot to mention the bucket of fresh strawberries I bought in Harlin....a 9 litre bucket 2/3 filled with fresh strawberries for $10....new bucket included in the price.....bonus.

Just jobs around the house. Trying to plan for Inskip next weekend.
Another question. Anyone one camped at Jacobs Well? What is it like?

Camping hasn't really been on our minds much until a couple of weeks ago. The Camper-trailer is now ready to go, we are just waiting for the weather to dry up and maybe warm up a bit before we try a bush site for the weekend. Still need to get a few peices of extra kit for the new season, a couple of new chairs, a gas extension pole and some jerry cans - always good to have a walk around a camping store though.

We checked out a bush site on Sunday and will probably drive out to Lanes Pool at Dwellingup this weekend have a walk and check out potential sites.

We have already got a couple of CP's booked for later in the year, Dongara in October school holidays, going with my Mum and Dad and their caravan. Then Busselton before Christmas with some freinds who are over from the UK. We have booked a Campervan for 4 nights at the end of Feb to drive from Alice to Uluru and Kings Canyon.

And of course there will be loads of weekends in between - just waiting for it to dry up a bit, only another week and we will be into spring.

Not been contributing as we've been on the road camping. Presently in Chinchilla after coming across from Birdsville via Bedourie, Boulia, Winton, Blackall, Mitchell. Bloody hot weather for the past couple of weeks. After here we are going to Bunya National Park and then head down the Dividing Range towards home. Have to get home so we can plan to go away again
